Welcome to Bombs Over Betty Photography, a Baltimore-based photography team! We specialize in retro and pin-up photography. Between the three girls: Jill, Gabrielle, and Kat, we can help create any idea that you have. We feel that a good photograph is not only creating gorgeous and unique images, but also having a fun and exciting experience. From the time you contact us, getting all dolled up, in front of the camera, until the time you receive your images, we want it to be pleasurable experience, and just plain fun.
Between the three of us, there is over five years of experience in retro inspired photography. We can also shoot on location at many places in and around the Baltimore area. We use hand made and vintage props/clothing.
We can recreate any vintage image that you find and absolutely love, to letting your ides into our hands and creating something a little different… We do it all.
The Team consists of:
Jill T: Photographer. She attended college at Salisbury University and majored in Photography and Journalism. She also focused on multiple courses on Film Noir in college and really enjoys 1940’s black and white recreations. She collaborates with the rest of the team to make all backgrounds in the studio as well as helps style on all shoots.
Kat: Hair Stylist. A fanatic of most things 80’s, Muppets, bacon, and her sputnik, Kat is one of the most entertaining people you will ever get to meet. She has been creating masterpieces atop girl’s heads since the birth of Bombs Over Betty in 2005. Kat is one of the best in the local pin up business. With her ability to SKAT and do hair at the same time… she will not only make your hair absolutely gorgeous but have you in stitches as well.Her creativity and unique approach to hairstyles helps to set Bombs Over Betty apart from other retro photography studios.
Gabrielle: Make-up artist, Graphic Designer, Set designer! Growing up as a fine artist, she was always learning and creating. Through high school, she immersed herself in sculpting, painting and set design. She went to Villa Julie College to pursue a degree in Visual Communication & Design. Being armed with the knowledge of both design and artistic expression has enabled her to take on any challenge that Bombs over Betty may throw her way! Watch out!
